About Us

The Connecticut Alliance for Long Term Care (CALTC) is a statewide provider network of the premiere not-for-profit health, rehabilitation and retirement facilities, with substantial expertise in serving the needs of mature adults and patients requiring complex medical care.

Incorporated in 1996 by six not for profit Connecticut Providers; today, CALTC represents 28 of the finest and most respected pre and post acute care facilities in the state.

CALTC, as a 501(c)(3) organization, utilizes the leverage of a statewide provider network while members retain their independence and autonomy and have equal representation on the Board of Directors. Over the past ten years CALTC members have effectively utilized this unique partnership and the collective size and strength of the organization to create innovative business partnerships, negotiate managed care contracts, establish group purchasing programs, and identify and share clinical best practices. CALTC's continued responsibility is to foster an environment promoting collaboration and sharing of information to support each member in their pursuit of clinical excellence, quality patient outcomes, operations improvement, cost reduction and enhanced customer service.
